Abstract
Metaphors help us to make sense of what we don’t know and understand. Many metaphors surround coronavirus - particularly military ones - but if we overuse them we can lose sight of reality. Psychologically speaking, living in a world with Covid requires reducing the unhelpful metaphors that surround it.
