In this film, the second of the three part series, Laverne Antrobus meets two teenagers suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Anna suffers from obsessive hand washing, something which is beginning to dominate her life more and more. Jonathan’s OCD is characterised by obsessive irrational thoughts in which he thinks he has harmed someone, even though it is something he has never done. The programme looks at the latest research into OCD, explains treatment programmes for the disorder and how it impacts on the lives of sufferers and their families.
