Abstract

The article presents a discussion of the ways that social and cultural factors, technological advances and changes in society's structure have impacted the development of anxiety in adolescence. A discussion of several adolescent psychopathology cases, including the case of an adolescent female who was diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder, is presented.
